Cooking Classes - Descriptions
(In Alphabetical Order)

The following  are descriptions of  cooking classes that we have taught in the past. They occasionally are repeated, and are also available as topics & menus for any of the private cooking classes.

Scheduled cooking classes may vary. Please check our cooking class calendar for specific details.

Overview of  Our Hands-On Cooking Classes:

Elegant Eating offers hands-on cooking classes covering a wide range of cuisines and cooking styles. In our hands-on classes, you are doing the cooking! Each recipe is demonstrated by your chef instructors. We break up into teams, and each prepares one dish from the 6-10 recipes (see specific cooking class details). The kitchen/classroom is large and we encourage you to view what the other stations are doing. When the dishes are ready, the class sits down to enjoy the meal. Experienced wait staff will serve the dinner you prepared, and best of all, Elegant Eating does the kitchen clean up.

Menus focus on easy-to-find ingredients and time-saving steps. Minimum class size for most classes is 16. Participants leave the class with a rewarding evening and all the recipes from the class. You can expect to spend at least three and a half hours at each class.

They Cook

Exquisite and luxurious dining experience.

Three hours of food, James Beard would be so proud:

This listen and learn demo dinner party will show you that two can cook as happily as one. They can make the same mess as a class of 16 only this time the class dines, watches, responds and Myra, Neil, Chef Roberto and Chef Pete do the cooking. By evening's end, your tummy will be full and your spirits lifted. And you will count the days to the next party.

Each of 12 courses will be served by our fabulous wait staff and constant questions and answers will be fielded. Even when we don’t know, we’ll get you an answer. This is the class to bring your friend or spouse that doesn’t want to cook but enjoys dining out, seeing unique food presentation and tasting freshly prepared selections.

Lots of eating will happen and you will hear and see how the courses are prepared. At the end of the evening, get all the recipes to take home and try for yourself.

12 courses, starting with soup and ending with nuts, that’s fair to say. Wait staff will serve each course and chef Roberto will be on hand to offer his professional expertise
